A fun Christmas week for Tali

Joke of the Week: Cual es el animal mas flojo del mundo??? Un Pez. Porque? Que hace un pez? Nada. Hahahahahahaha -Stevie mi hermano adoptivo
Quote of the Week: "Something Profound" -Hermana Gomez
Hijole! Christmas is OVER! lt was amazing. l've heard it said that the holidays are the hardest time for missionaries, but honestly, it was AWESOME! :)
l have very little time and y'all are in Mexico, so this will be shortish. Plus l need to send a billion pictures.
BUT man.... Last week was a little bipolar because it was SO FUN, but it has also been THE hardest time to be obedient and to.... ya be obedient. My dear companions have been struggling with some serious health problems, entonces it's been tough to find a balance between teaching, letting them rest with members, and... enduring to the end.
Sometimes l feel as though l'm constantly living the Parable of the Seed Growing Secretly.
l am learning "La Bamba" on the Guitar.
Our district meeting on the 25th was AWESOME! The Spirit was so strong. lt's amazing how much stinking revelation one can recieve at meetings. l love it.
So we spent most of Christmas festiving and having a blast talking about Paz y buena voluntad, then as we got to our last appointment, the little boy opened the door crying and told us that his parents hadn't come home from work. The poor little family had no parents, no gifts, no tree, and no food for Christmas. They are super poor cause they just got here from Mexico. Our awesome members went to Walmart right away and we brought them some tamales and a small Christmas. lt was just.... pure LOVE that night.
l have decided that there is no greater joy than listening to my investigators/less actives bear me their own testimonies.
Stevie my adopted brother served a mission in Paraguay like Dallin and Nathan! He also can cook SO well adn made us giant mushrooms! The Garcia family (hermana, Axel, Stevie, and Mayra) have actually asked us missionaries for adoption papers :) Be their friends on FAcebook. l. love. them.
THat is all! l will send a ton of pictures and l hope that you all have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!! l feel like 2013 jsut barely started.
Paz y buena voluntad peeps!
